Great split from two of STL's most exciting bands. Complainer side is a hyperactive slap of punked up rhythms and vox from Suen with fill city from Hess's drumkit. Moonrace side strips it back to (mostly) drums + synth tunes with Supersonic Soda sounding like something heard from the 8 bit era while Old Magnet Hands brings together Tinsley, Hess, and Suen for a beautifully chaotic drum/synth/sax jam to end the record.
Artwork by Curtis Tinsley is stellar as always, and the 7" looks rad. Brian Cryptonix

It’s just what fits melancholia that LOVES to dance to driving base and isn’t afraid of things getting a little messy.
